Owners were really nice. Old but clean place to sleep along the transcanadienne hwy. Dog friendly with a little yard.
I stayed here twice in the last month and can happily recommend this place as a clean, decent well-run motel with rooms that are nicely painted and furnished with comfortable beds. There owners obviously take a lot of pride in the property, there are lot's of flowers and comfy chairs outside the rooms and they're out early watering the flowers and maintaining the grounds. Check-in is easy and the people are friendly and helpful. This is a great place if you're on a road trip and need a place to stay.
We had been driving so long and desperate for a place to sleep and they accommodate us early in the morning with a freshly cleaned room for me, hubby and our dog. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker working. Shower and bed acceptable. Had a good stay. Thank you!
Amazing motel in the heart of blind river. It was clean, organized and a hassle free process. The owner was very nice and made it very easy to check in and check out. Had no issues, and the rooms had AC and Heating, beds were comfy also, great overall experience, would definitely recommend!
Had a great experience at this motel. The owners and cleaning staff were very friendly. The room was bright and modern and well appointed. There was plenty of hot water. Lots of 120v plugs as well as several USB outlets in the room between the beds. We arrived on our bikes and the owner allowed us to use the hose to wash the bugs off. Always appreciate a place that is motorcycle friendly!! Very clean and modern room, and a nice comfortable bed … perfect.
After a long day of travel, this was the perfect place to rest! The person who checked us in, I believe the owner, was kind and accommodating. The room was absolutely gorgeous and clean and very modern. My personal favourite part was the outdoor seating that had lots of space and a bonfire pit. There was nothing we wanted for and it was just what we needed.
In this small northern Ontario town this inn was our beacon after a long drive. It is not a resort hotel, but its cleanliness is exemplary and the room was perfect for us. The booking was a bit awkward for me but the old school family run business was lovely and I would recommend for anyone needing a hotel stay.
Clean rooms, very nice people, cute town where everyone knows each other. River is beautiful. Went to the restaurant that is attached, food was amazing and the service was great! Definitely the place to stay if you’re in blind river.
